IRIS POWER

ELCID Training | Electromagnetic Core Imperfection Detection

June 6-8, 2017 Iris Power Facility - Toronto, Canada

Costs: $1695 | Early Bird Price: $1495 Until May 6, 2017

About the Course

Reasons to Take The Course

Mechanical, electrical and environmental stresses can cause a breakdown in the inter-laminar insulation on Stator Core assemblies which can lead to fault currents.  These fault currents create hot spots which can cause further deterioration to the core.   If left unchecked, this can lead to damage to the stator winding and the machine as a whole.

ELCID is a simple, cost effective, preventative maintenance tool for checking core lamination integrity

Training Scope:

Instructor:

Mladen Sasic has twenty years of international experience in design, production, installation, testing and maintenance of Pow-er generation, transmission and distribution equipment. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering-Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Sarajevo
