IRIS POWER

ELCID Training | Electromagnetic Core Imperfection Detection – Toronto, Canada

March 31 - April 2, 2020 Iris Power Facility - Toronto, Canada

$1495.00 USD

About the Course

Reasons to Take The Course

Mechanical, electrical and environmental stresses can cause a breakdown in the inter-laminar insulation on Stator Core assemblies which can lead to fault currents.  These fault currents create hot spots which can cause further deterioration to the core.   If left unchecked, this can lead to damage to the stator winding and the machine as a whole. This course discusses stator core failure mechanisms, and how the ELCID test can find them.

ELCID is a simple, cost effective, preventative maintenance tool for checking core lamination integrity
