John Letal is a Rotating Machines Engineer at Iris Power responsible for supporting rotating machine mechanical monitoring initiatives including stator endwinding vibration. Prior to Iris, he spent 7 years with Siemens TurboCare as a Field Service Engineer troubleshooting large rotating equipment using such tools as vibration analysis, force response measurements, and modal analysis. He was also involved in the implementation and execution of vibration analysis programs. John holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto, and is registered as a Professional Engineer.
